Best Practices (audio export)

UPLOAD:

How to prepare your track for a  MIX:

• Name your tracks
• Tracks are mono only. Stereo tracks ok for Synthesizers, guitars, loops, or over heads.
• Export #1: Export all your tracks from the bigining, with all effects ON (see export page)
• Export #2: export all your tracks from the bigining, with all effets OFF (no compressor, noise-gate, reverb, chorus, delay …).
• Avoid cliping on tracks (ajust the levels down if needed).
• Check how many tracks you have (count how many files per project), and buy the right MIX: 20 files = 1-24 tracks. 28 files = 25-48 tacks
• BPM (for live tracks, without click, write “Live”).
• Send us 1 or 2 mixes of traks sounding like you wish (it will help us to know what you like).

If you send more than 1 song, make shure that we can seprate files for each project. You can make a .rar .zip archive for each song, or give the name of the song for each file.

MASTERING :

For Stems mastering, 8 stems maximum.

• Name your tracks
• Avoid cliping on tracks
• Send us 1 or 2 (mastered) mixes of tracks sounding like you wish (it will help us to know what you like).
• If you send us more than 1 track, write a document to:
  • Tell us if the tracks are for the same single / EP / Album
  • Give us the order of tracks.

EDIT :

For classic editing, tell us if you want to remove breath (for vocals or wind instruments).

For « Autotune » like effects, send us 1 or 2 tracks sounding like you wish (it will help us to know what you like).
